Cillian Sweater Pattern

Cillian is a traditional Aran sweater pattern. It features the Honeycomb stitch, which is thought to have symbolised the hard-working bees and was said to have brought luck and abundance of catch to the fishermen at sea.

The pattern recommends:

1000g, 1000g, 1200g, 1200g, 1200g of Aran weight yarn

1 pair of 5mm knitting needles

1 pair of 4mm knitting needles

A cable needle

A stitch holder

A darning needle

To fit bust: 36/38, 40/42, 44/46, 48/50, 52/54 inches
