Albert’s Pilot Hat | Petite Knit patterns

Albert's Pilot Hat is worked top-down in the round on double pointed needles. The earflaps are worked back and forth. A pompom can then be attached on top of the hat.

Sizes: 0-3 months (3-6 months) 6-12 months (1-2 years)

Gauge: 22 stitches x 30 rows in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in 

Suggested needles: Size 4 mm (U.S. size 6) double pointed needles

Materials: 50 g 4ply/ fingering weight  (approx. 50 g = 235 m [257 yds]) (held double) or 50 g DK (approx. 50 g = 130m )  Some leftover yarn in a contrasting colour for the pompom. 1 button
